 In the [[Pawnee Courthouse]], presumably after her interaction with Ted, Leslie is at the microphone, trying to encourage Pawneeans to get rid of the Town's outdated laws with a new bill that would repeal 110 laws. She is filibustered by a short man named [[Garth Blundin]] who continues to talk about Star Wars to prevent the bill from being passed, and continues until the rest of the courthouse leaves, except for Leslie, who wagers a bet against the man that she could live in a historical environment longer than he.
 Back in City Hall, Chris begins giving Ann and Ron the seminar. The scene then cuts to Ann confronting Ben about his constant outbidding. After they exchange their opinions as to why they should own the waffle iron, they are both outbidden by an unknown user.
 Back in the seminar, Chris attempts to motivate the group of two and is met by a very stubborn Ron and a bored April.

 Ben visits a local pawn shop asking for the waffle iron which was bought by the owner, and is confronted by Ann Perkins and Leslie's Mailwoman, both of whom have tracked the man down as well. The owner encourages the 3 to participate in a bidding war. The trio agree, and begin to bid at extreme costs.
 Back at the house Leslie and Garth churn butter together, and to the surprise of Leslie, Garth seems to be in the lead.
 Chris Traeger approaches [[Jerry Gergich]] and asks him to file an excessive number of red files as an experiment.
