Paul Iaresco is the City Manager for Pawnee. He is Ron Swanson's superior.

Season ThreeEdit

In the episode "Camping", Paul collapses at a press conference while congratulating Leslie Knope on the success of the Harvest Festival. While falling, he grabs her breasts, which Leslie described as "the second most awkward way a man has ever grabbed my breasts". He had had a heart attack, which required an octuple heart bypass. While he is recovering, Chris Traeger has taken over as city manager.
