The Pawnee Library Department, directed by Ron's ex-wife Tammy 2, runs the libraries in Pawnee. The employees are known to be arrogant and manipulative, referred to as 'Punk-ass Book Jockeys' by those in the Parks Department. Leslie declared it a "diabolical, ruthless bunch of bureaucrats", much to the confusion of Ann Perkins. The department placed a planning claim for Lot 48, which Leslie has been working to turn into a park. The department is stationed at the Pawnee Public Library.
