Lawrence is the disgruntled neighbor of Ann Perkins, who complains about Andy's loud music. He lives with his grandmother and owns several pet birds. Lawrence and Andy often get into fights, one which culminated with a naked Andy chasing Lawrence down the street. Lawrence is usually present at town hall meetings where he shouts and throws things at government officials.
Season One
During the episode "Canvassing", Lawrence yells at Leslie Knope, exclaiming, "Hey, park lady! You suck!" Instead of being offended, Leslie is excited that he called her "park lady". Lawrence steals Andy Dwyer's radio in the episode "Boys' Club" for playing his music too loud. In the episode "Rock Show", when Leslie's much older date shows off pictures of his sons, his oldest happens to be Lawrence.
