Kathryn Pinewood is a recurring character in the NBC sitcom Parks and Recreation. She is an employee of the Pawnee Restaurant Association. She also has close ties to the Sweetums corporation.
Kathryn has straight blonde hair that she wears long with bangs. She is played by Mary Faber.
Storyline[]
Kathryn Pinewood first appears in the episode Soda Tax, warning Leslie against imposing a soda tax on the high sugar and calorie soft drinks sold locally, as it will force restaurants to lay off workers.
Kathryn was one of the driving forces behind the effort to recall Leslie from her position on the City Council.
She later appears in the episode Ann and Chris when Leslie and Ann ask her to restore the free Sweetums Super Fizzy Fruity Pop privileges for Public Works so that they will allow the ground breaking of Pawnee Commons. Ann physically intimidates Kathryn into giving them what they want, provided Ann and Leslie can secure a celebrity endorsement for a new beverage product.
