In "Halloween Surprise", Leslie and Ann look at this house along with Leslie's realtor, Martha. They are looking for a house for Leslie and Ben to live in when Ben moves back from D.C. Leslie falls in love with the house and decides to rent it. This is the place where Ben later asks Leslie to marry him.
