Councilman Larry Pillner is a retired city councilman who has an interest in ships in bottles. Leslie Knope replaces him after she wins the election for his seat in city council. He is portrayed by Bradley Whitford, known for his roles in The West Wing and more recently The Handmaid's Tale.
