Christopher Michael "Chris" Pratt (born June 21, 1979) is an American actor best known for his roles as Star-Lord in Guardians of the Galaxy, Harold Brighton "Bright" Abbott in the television series Everwood, Ché in season 4 of The OC, and Andy Dwyer in the television series Parks and Recreation.

Life and careerEdit

Raised in Lake Stevens, Washington, Pratt was waiting tables at the Bubba Gump Shrimp Company restaurant in Maui, Hawaii when he was discovered by actor-director Rae Dawn Chong; she cast him in the horror film Cursed Part 3. He joined the cast of The O.C. for its fourth season, playing Ché, an activist and Summer Roberts' best friend while attending Brown University.

He dated Everwood co-star Emily VanCamp, who portrayed his character's sister. He married actress Anna Faris on July 9, 2009.[1]
