China Joe is a minor character in the NBC sitcom Parks and Recreation.His real name is Doug Ng and he is Vietnamese-American. He was in charge of the sound effects on the morning DJ radio show Crazy Ira & The Douche on The Groove of Pawnee until he had enough money to quit and pursue his dream of completing his doctoral dissertation on migration patterns of Homo habilis in the Palaeolithic Age and was replaced by Jewish Greg.
